Project Argus
Project Argus is a single-player mod using the Roboblitz/Unreal 3 engine. The mod began using the Roboblitz engine which essentially was a modified version of the Unreal 3 engine. One of the goals of the project was to research into the new unreal technology. I was involved in the beginning stages of the project and mainly spent my time researching the different aspects of the newer unreal engine given at the time.
My Contributions
- Incorporated another programmer’s framework into our project in order to mimic an editor which was similar to the previous unreal engines
- Managed other programmers
- Gained experience with UnrealScript and Kismet while shared with others
- Created sample levels
- Help create video content
Content Video
This is a content video we rendered showing the assets we have made for the artists as well as some implementations from the programming team. My main contribution was the art pipeline.
Development as of september
This vid showcases our integration of Solid_Snake's framework into our mod. We have already implemented our own animation and models.
Note: None of the content that you see was in the orignal Robobliz engine. All of it was added be either Solid_Snake or our team.
